As soon as Young (speaking as a puppet celebrity like they all are) spoke up about Rogan (without probably ever listening to anything he said) I immediately thought Dave McGowan. Am so glad to read your post! Thank you. Btw, Admiral Morrison was Jim’s father, not grandfather. We think of rock stars as perpetually young (no pun intended), but these guys were born in the 40s to be 20 yo in 1966!

Excellent essay, GT !

McGowan had a special talent for penetrating research and brilliant sarcasm. He could make anyone laugh, even while he tore apart their cherished myths. As far as I know, nobody has ever proven him wrong in any significant way.

I never really liked Neil Young, though a couple of songs from his early years were pretty good. I was just a little kid back then, and by the time I grew up I wasn't interested in that stuff enough to buy an album. It didn't surprise me at all to learn that the 60s counterculture was a dark military/cia psy op on the public. A lot of my childhood memories of the evening news and general social climate made far more sense once I realized that.

Joni Mitchell is also chiming in with support to Neil Young and the Covid psy op. Not long ago, she was on a rage against big pharma, cia etc about morgellen's disease, which she apparently suffered from. I didn't know what to make of that then, and I'm really puzzled now.
